Solid for that sponge wand thingy Dec 08, 2010
By Grumpasaurus So my wife typically makes all our Amazon purchases and this particular item came while she was out the country. I take one look at it and was like huh... let's put this at the kitchen sink. I hung the sponge wand thingy on it and thought wow. Good thinking, wife!
Apparently it was meant for her face soap in the master bath. Whatever. We got another one.

No more soggy soap Oct 07, 2007
By Vonia I bought this because I hate soggy soap, and having to scrape out the soap dish to clean it. I have two kids who don't always let the excess water drip off the soap before putting it in the dish. This does exactly what it is supposed to. The surface where the soap sits is a bit concave, so the soap stays centered on the tabs and looks neater. It's a little bigger than I expected but it still sits on the sink rim, and is heavy enough not to get knocked over easily. I wish it came in different colors, but even if it doesn't, I'm keeping mine. Is the soap dish a BIG deal? No, but now it is one less irritation to deal with.

We really like this soap dish Nov 02, 2008
By Genie616 We bought four of these soapdishes. One for each bathroom, one for the kitchen and one for the laundry room. It is so great not to have a mushy soap bar. Everyone that came into our house and saw them wanted them. I wound up buying six more. If you decide to order, it is wise to order as many as you think you want all at once. The shipping cost is the same for one soapdish as it is for six of them.
They are some form of plastic, but look like ceramic. We have knocked thme into the sink, and they didn't chip or break, and didn't hurt the sink ceramic. I would never have any other kind of soap dish again.

Different product than the picture Nov 04, 2011
By Francesca I bought two of these in March, and they looked just like the picture. I bought a third this week, and there was no stand to hold it up at an angle, it lies flat on the counter. It came with a suction cup, as if it were supposed to be held vertically on the wall. Completely different design, and in my opinion, ruining the whole purpose of having a "waterfall" soap saver if it will just stagnate in its own moisture.

GREAT as a SPONGE holder!!! Oct 28, 2010
By P. Berry I didn't buy this to hold soap. I bought it to place next to my kitchen sink so my sponge will drain into the sink. Works great! If you want to know exactly how big this holder is (without dealing with the measurements), then imagine an ordinary-sized sponge and that is EXACTLY how big the holder is. Love it!
