 These have worked great in heat and steam May 23, 2012

We're using these gloves for our clothes steamer and they've worked great, but I snuck them into my shop and used them when I was steam bending wood over a hot pipe and they really proved themselves. I could work the wood easily while wearing the gloves and never felt heat. I haven't tried to clean them yet, but I'm not too worried about their appearance.

I ordered this glove and the regular ove glove. I wish I'd ordered just this one as I really don't need 2 sets and this one is preferable to the regular gloave. My one complaint is that I wish it didn't get dirty so easily. I've been looking for a replacement for my grilling gloves, but this isn't it.
After ordering other gloves that I returned, these definitely fit better and are easier to get on.
