It was easier to just take a pair of pliers to the rinestones. Nov 13, 2006

My daughters and I tried several times to put the gems into a plain tee shirt, (no thick material) and instead of it pushing the rinestone prongs in, it pushed them out. (to where it would cut the user)
We adjusted, went slower, read directions everything. Until I finally got fed up, grabbed my pliers, and pushed the rinestones in by hand and mashed down the prongs with my pliers.
This "bedazzler" was a piece of junk. I was not dazzled at all by its performance. I would love to find a rinestone setter that actually does what it says it is supposed to do.

Another piece of plastic junk Jan 01, 2007

My 7 year old wanted this so bad for Christmas so I got it for her. She watched the commercials for it countless times and boy do they make it seem so fun and easy. First I cannot believe the price for this piece of plastic, I was very disappointed at the quality and how flimsy it is. Well we just did it today and it did not hold the kids interest due to the fact you have to be very very precise and push down really hard and when thats said and done some of the prongs are not completely through nor bent under in the correct position. Have read directions to the "t" and still do not like how the prongs spread out rather than tuck under when pushed through. We did a pair of her jeans and now I don't want here wearing them since it looks as if she'll cut herself. I have read the other post saying people probably are not doing it right, however it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know junk when you see it.

Piece of junk Aug 13, 2006
By EBG123 My daughter and I were SO displeased with the Bedazzler machine. It just doesn't work! We wasted dozens of the little studs and gems and managed to get ONE to stay on the fabric. Don't waste your money on this item.

Not worth your time or money! Mar 20, 2007

This product is a joke. As stated in other reviews here, the studs have to be manually reset so as not to hurt the wearer. The cost is ridiculous considering how cheaply made it is. I'd love to call Tana to let her know how bad the product is, but, strangely enough, there is no Customer Service number on the box nor is a number on the written materials. Guess Tana doesn't want to hear the truthful feedback.

Bedazzler does not work as advertised Jan 21, 2007
By Diana Thayer This machine is a joke. The plunger falls off and the plastic heads keep falling apart. The setter does NOT set the stones or studs. 75% of the prongs have to be reset by HAND. DO NOT BUY!
