Got it, almost sure it wouldn't work ... more as a joke than anything.

VERY pleasantly surprised.

THE VERY GOOD:
1. Actually contracts muscles HARD - I've been using it for a week - I am at 80(intensity) and it makes me HUNCH over during the "contraction". I feel it working ... that's WOW. I even wore it driving - that was funny. Wife tried it on 80 (first time) said it felt like she was in labor again.

2. Batteries have lasted every day for a week - some days twice a day - medium/high intensity (started 50 now 80) - program nr. 5 (30mins).

3. TIP - hunch over a bit (in a sitting position) and suck in belly while using it - it will contract the middle of the tummy harder this way.

THE NOT SO GREAT :

PADS - what a pain - take plastic off - put water gently - put plastic on - they slip and they wear off.... if you use it a LOT you'll be changing them monthly ... there should be a smarter way to do this.

BUT - I would definitely tell you to try it - ESPECIALLY if you aren't TOO FAT (many many inches extra - in which case I don't know if it will still work).

Set it on 90+ and it will make you have sore muscles even if you regularly train !!

I'm not sure if it is the belt or the motivation you get from spending $100 on the machine, but it did work. I'm in pretty good shape, but when the belt showed up, I started eating healthier, continued my ab routine, and also I wear the belt daily, and between all three, I'm seeing results. I would doubt that the belt would give you visible abs on its own, but if you are dedicated to working out, it seems like a good supplement to your workouts.

I was very impressed by the result of this product. I was thinking it was not going to be as effective as advertise but I was not able to go over 45 for the first few days. I must also say that I workout often and run around 4 miles a day. I have a little belly fat over my stomach so I have not seen the six pack yet but that is not a concern for to me. Since I've been using this system I know my run time have decline and my sit up have increased and that is good to me. I also purchased the extra pads but one thing I have been doing to elongate the life of the pads is after each use I replace the plastic covers and after every 3 sessions I add a little bit of Vaseline to keep it lubricated. I'm on my first pad doing this and it still feels like new it has been over a month now and I am to the 72 level, no rush for me but it is tough as you progress. I recommend this product to anyone who would like to strengthen there core.

I am very satisfied with my purchase. My abs became stronger immediately after the first session and after days of using it according to the directions I seen a change in the shape of my midsection, not really noticeable by others, just a slight improvement. The Slendertone does not cause sweat and does not burn fat. I never experienced muscle pain during or after use. I diet and do ab work in addition. I have no complaints. After five weeks I ordered new pads. The one set of pads included is only enough to get you started, you'll need to order replacments eventually. I have never bought or used any other item similar to this, it's the only electro muscle stimulation product I have used, I cannot make comparisons.

This device is worthless, after 4 or 5 uses the gel pads no longer conduct (suprise!, they want you to buy more. The electrical connection between the controller and the belt also failed completely, would not make electrical connection. It went into the trash where it belongs. Try a gym form plus, much better.
