Comfortable and firm support Jul 28, 2010
Cushion was very comfortable, thought the faux leather finished caused it to slip on the chair. I am still satisfied with my purchase. It served its purpose.

Strange cushion Jun 12, 2010
First of all, I'm not sure what the science behind this is product is. The product only gives vague blurbs about spine shape, but nothing concrete.

In any case, the cushion basically creates a slope in your seat that causes you to slide forward if you're not careful. If you do not sit firmly at the top of the slope (against the back of the chair), you start sliding forward and your lower back begins to hurt after awhile. I'm guessing the pain is to help motivate you to readjust your posture to the correct one. However, I found myself constantly in pain because I unconsciously slid forwards.

I was going to return it, but then I realized that if I turned it around, so the high part was at the front (like some car seats), it might force me to sit against the back without the pain. I tried it and it's worked quite well.

Overall, you probably shouldn't buy this for its orthopedic properties, because, based on my own usage, I'm not confident that there is any.

This one is firm-- far better than the Wagan cushion and the junk you'll find at K-Mart.

Angled too high in the back for me May 02, 2010
I have scholiosis and had hoped this would further protect my back while at work/computer all day.
However, it pitches me so far forward, I feel like I'll slide out of the seat. Additionally, the curve it causes in the back is not at all comfortable for me.
My chiropractor advises me to sit straight back against the back of my seat for support. This cushion caused me to be very far forward and unable to sit back.
I would like to see a similar cushion, with the cutout, but one that wasn't angled so far up in the rear. Perhaps someone who is much heavier than my 165lbs wouldn't have this issue.
I did try it in my car-with a seat that leans back further and it was fine-raising me higher about 3+". Would be great for someone whose seat is too low.
Overall quality and workmanship are good.
I have returned it easily due to Amazon's great service.

My experience was severely painfull in fact I'm still reeling from the effects. I'd hoped for some relief, but using the cushion increased my level of ppain exponentially. I'm not aware of a money back gaurantee with this product, if so I would in a heartbeat.
