Who's tellin the truth? Mar 09, 2010
I wanted to buy this product after I saw its commercial on TV, then I read these reviews. It seemed that mostly are negative probably because it does not do what it says. Then who's writing the positive reviews? someone is lying. I tend to agree with the negative reviews cuz I've bought stuff from amazon.com base on positive reviews that turned up to be untrue.

Here is how I do it, if the percentage of the negative reviews are more than 5%, by the statistical probability, the product is not worth buying. (I consider 3 stars or less a negative review). in my opinion, positive reviews do not mean much, how would I know it is not written by the marketers themselves?

These negative reviews really helped me otherwise I would've been taken too. Thanks folks.

Also another way to do it is to look at the shipping charges, if it seem high relative to the value of the product itself, I wouldn't buy it cuz they make the money off of the inflated shipping charges even if you return it. All the decent products I have bought have had low and reasonable shipping charges.

Riddex did not work Feb 16, 2010
I was very disappointed in this product.

I have one upstairs and one downstairs.

We have used them for almost two months now and have more bugs than ever!

it was worth a shot, but the riddex did not work. i tried it. read the directions twice and we still have roaches crawling around at the most embarrassing times. oh, well.

i got the first one and it was a dud but they sent me a second one free of charge and it works, i have mice in the roof and in the walls, and ever since i plugged the riddex plus in i have noticed a reduction in noise from the mice. so i think it is working. hopefully after a couple more weeks they will have all ran away.
