Good Set - Help Your Dryer! Jan 24, 2006
By Eldemila I bought this at a local BB&B store. I clean my lint filter out regularly, other family members do not. I knew it had to be dirty, but I had no idea! This set of tools does work, but a few modifications could easily give it a 5 star rating.
The vacuum hose could be improved upon by being a little bit bigger, as in the opening of the flat tube. The opening is not that big and if you have a lot of dirt down there, it clogs up easily. Just a little bigger and it would be great - in my case, it would still clog, but probably less, and of course, NOW I shouldn't have that problem. I was amazed and mortified to see what came out of my dryer! I used my Rainbow vacuum which has a water basin instead of a bag so I can see what it was pulling out. I had to stop and take off the hose and suck out the dirt with the hose of the vacuum and put it back on - this happening over and over. I pulled out a AA battery???, pencil, penny, and other things I wasn't quite sure what they were. One thing, it tends to curve, which is fine, it should, your lint filter does too. My suggestion is to turn it around and use it that way as well so you vacuum the "back" of the wall of the lint filter area too.
The vacuum hose and the brush were what I used. The duct brush I haven't really used yet so I can't comment much about it. It's coiled and I'm not sure how easy it is to snake through the ducts. For me, I have only about 3 feet of duct and it may just be easier to replace this piece than trying to clean it out.
All-in-all I think it's a great set. I know you can purchase items such as these separately, but as a kit, it's cheap enough to get all 3 pieces together. I'm hoping this makes an improvement in my drying time. I can only imagine what I've pulled out of there (and it's been a lot - over 18+ years worth of yuck!) hampered the dryer somewhat.
ONE TIP - if you tend to use fabric softener sheets in your dryer, make sure you wash your lint filter from time-to-time. I read a tip a while back that sheets clog up your filter screen, and they do, or at least did on mine. Take your filter to the sink and run some water in there, it should go through just like a sieve. When I tried this on mine for the first time, barely any water went through - meaning, air isn't going through either. Washed it with a little soap, and viola, water went through just like a sieve!

Very useful tool Mar 27, 2006
By AP I have been looking for a long brush to keep my vent duct clean of lint. I have a long duct of probable 15 or 18 feet with curves. The Dryer Max Lint Removal kit has been certainly helpful. The brush is perfect for the duct, it is hard and flexible enough to remove all the lint and still keep moving over the curves of the duct.
I have to recommend this tool; it is a must for the regular house keeper.

Dry Max Dryer Lint Removal Kit - Disappointing Product! Jun 23, 2008
By C. Warner Item was shipped/received very quickly, however, I was extremely disappointed with the lint removal kit. The flat hose did not work well in vacuuming because it was bent in several places in order to fit into the box. At each bend in the hose the lint could not suck through so therefore it stayed clogged. Also, a plastic piece on the kit broke off the first time I tried to use the system. So my purchase was a complete waste of money! I would not recommend this kit.

Zero Stars!! Dec 22, 2008
By Scarlett MX5 Why isn't there an option for zero stars? This product has earned it. The vacuum hose is bent in three places (won't unbend) and worthless. Since the storefront would charge a restocking fee for this $19.95 defective product (and I would have to pay shipping on top of that), it is not even worth returning or donating. It was a waste of money. To the trash can it goes....

The Ontel Dryer-Max Lint Removal Kit May 27, 2008
By user We have a front loading GE dryer.
Somewhat dissappointed with the product (but may be better than nothing.. ).
The part that attaches to the vaccum cleaner, is somewhat wide and is not very flexbile, and doesn't reach deep enough.
The small brush does NOT attach to the lint like "magnet" as they show it on TV. Also not very flexbile, and you can't reach all the area inside. You still have lint remaining inside.
Have not tried the bigger brush yet.
I think the price also is too much for what you get.
