Show off your young artist's work! With My Masterpiece, original artwork is enlarged and placed into a wooden frame or transformed into a museum-style poster, which ever you choose. Submit original artwork or a favorite photo using the postage-paid envelope provided. Our kit includes art pages and markers, or you can make your item entirely online using our Internet Production drawing and photo tools. The finished masterpiece will be returned in just a few weeks. Your young artist will experience a sense of accomplishment and the entire family can enjoy their professionally reproduced artwork for a lifetime. If you have chosen to frame your masterpiece, we enlarge the artwork to 11" by 14" and print it onto a plain or simulated canvas background, or for an extra charge, actual canvas. Frames are offered in red, blue, black, or gold leaf, and include a nameplate with the artist name, artwork name and date. The museum-style poster is a large 32" by 24" size, printed on heavy gloss paper, and includes artist name, artwork name and date in your choice of three different exhibit styles. Many other exciting options are offered, such as a plexiglass cover for the frame and replication of photos to appear as oil paintings. Extras of the artwork can be ordered with different options, and are a great way for Mom or Dad to decorate the office. Normal production time is approximately three weeks. Rush service is available. Great way to preserve a child's work of art Nov 29, 2008

I bought this for myself to preserve a special picture that my granddaughter had painted in school. I scanned in the original and uploaded it. The poster included my granddaughter's name, the title of the picture, and the date it was painted. I'm thrilled to have such a beautiful way to preserve and show off this lovely painting.

I was curious when buying this kit if there would be any extra fees besides what I paid. I had bought a make a plate kit a few years ago and there were extra fees. There are extra fees. You will at least pay three dollars more for processing. The three dollars is for 4-5 week processing. If you want rush it is twenty dollars. There are many add on like plexiglass, different textures, extra copies, or have the drawing turned into a puzzle or a mousepad.
I have not gotten my finish product in the mail yet. My child had fun making the artwork and we are having it sent to grandma. For the price I paid I have don't have a problem paying an extra small processing fee. I just think the mandatory three dollars should be in the listing as well as the timeframe espcially if people are giving this as a gift.

This is a great gift for both the child and the parent. I love giving this gift when Im not sure what the child may already have and I dont want to give a gift card.
The end product (after you mail it in)is professional and beautiful. It's also a priceless treasure.

My Masterpiece is a steal at $19.95! Comparable posters and frames without custom wording are upwards of $40.00 and your child will be so proud to see their artwork blown up and treasured in this professional way; the fictional(and optional)"National Art Museum" on the poster makes them feel like a real artist. Also, it's a great way for dads to display their child's artwork at the office in a professional way with the high-quality wood frame that includes a nameplate with the artwork title, artist name and year. I saw, in another review, that there were send-back fees, but if there were, they have been removed (as the bullets above state) and there are no extra fees for the poster or the frame; unless you choose to get both in which case you get the second at a discounted price. Whichever you decide, this kit is great for not only making presentable wall art out of your children's drawings, but for building self-esteem and rewarding their creativity.

This is an AWESOME way to get the creative juices flowing from your child. My Son loved the idea, and when we received the finished product, the quality was outstanding. Customer Service was excellent. This is worth every penny, and will bring a big smile to your child's face when the finished product arrives. :)
