 Won't buy another.... Jun 28, 2010
We purchased two of these units, one for the kitchen and one for the bedroom. Both units were very difficult to open for cleaning and close afterward. They ceased operation in less than three months. While I did let the company I bought them from, NOT Amazon, I also made it clear that I did not want them replaced, as this was the sole option. Why pay for shipping on a less-than-reliable product? Don't waste your money. Nehmah

I RATE THIS ITEM <5> STARS...I BOUGHT 3, GAVE AWAY 2 AS GIFTS, AND ONLY 1 WORKS. THE GIFT PURCHASES WERE DIRECT SHIPPED TO ANOTHER ADDRESS...SO OTHER THAN RECEIVING A SURPRISE HEALTHY HOME GIFT, THEY HAVE RECEIVED AN "OOPS, SORRY IT DOESN'T WORK, DO YOU HAVE THE TIME TO RE-PACKAGE AND RETURN, THEN WAIT 1-3 MONTHS FOR IT TO BE REPLACED" PAIN IN THE NECK....IF YOU'RE LUCKY ONE OF THE NEXT 3 WILL WORK!!!

I have a smaller unit that doesn't really handle a larger room, and chose this model. It manages to keep the air in a medium sized room free of pet odors and cooking odors. I've bought a second for another room, and plan to purchase another this month.

We bought this ionizer for our home. It worked great the first few days, then started flickering on and off. It has not worked properly since.
