5snuggies  Jun 06, 2010
I bought the blanket for my mom and she loves it. It is really warm and comfy and I love that it is machine washable. It's worth the money.

4Look like a rockstar in this thing....  May 22, 2010
I know I do. I wear it to sporting events like the kids baseball games and even wore it to Nascar. I've gotten plenty of comments on it, mostly positive. I've spilled beer on the fabric a couple of times but I just put it in the washer with some oxiclean and in the time it takes you to make burgers with your big city slider and clean the tub with Kaboom, it comes out clean and fresh. Sorry, gotta go the UPS guy is here with a package, I hope it's my grater plater, no more wasted garlic or cut fingers. Later.

2Great Idea, but I prefer the Slanket  Mar 05, 2010
I saw the infamous infomercial for the Snuggie and ordered one. I was ok with it; it kept me warm. But my dad got the Slanket, and I'm always tempted to take that one. It's larger than the Snuggie, and made with much better material. While it is more expensive (hey, you get what you pay for), part of that money goes to Cancer research. So unless you find a really great deal on the Snuggie, I'd go for the Slanket.

2Literally Stinks  Feb 15, 2010
I received two Snuggies as Chrsitmas gifts. They have an overwhelming smell of a petroleum product, like old tires or dirty oil burning. I have washed them several times and used both liquid fabric softner and dryer sheets to try to be rid or at least cover the smell but nothing works. I can't wash them with anything else becasue the smell transfers to whatever you wash them with. When you walk into the room where they are you are overpowered with the horrible petroleum smell. So I can't tell you how well they work becasue I can't use them.

1I should not have purchased this Snuggie!  Feb 12, 2010
I purchased the Snuggie as a gift and had it sent to a nursing home. I was very unhappy and embarrassed to hear that it arrived with a tear under the arm.
