 I don't understand the bad reviews! Jul 28, 2010
I really feel that this product has a bad review rating because people took it out of the box, read the directions & didn't get immediate steam, so they assumed it didn't work. The directions that come with the product are misleading- saying that "when the red light goes off, the steamer is ready for use." If I'd only gone by the instructions, I would have assumed that it did not work. Like previous reviewers, I found that it BARELY gave off any steam at all. However, I took the attachment off,and after I WAITED ABOUT 3 MINUTES after the indicator light went off (signaling that it was ready to use) that thing was steaming like crazy! The directions clearly state that it does not give off a steady stream of steam, rather bursts as you push the button. That's exactly what it does- BIG BURSTS! Especially for the price- it's a great deal.

I actually brought this from bed bath and beyond for $20 for college, then I tried it out, the steam came out as puffs which hardly does anything for the shirt that I was trying it out on, and then all what came out on the shirt was water. Not a single wrinkle came out.

I recently bought this to steam my daughter's dance outfit. Tulle how hard can that be? I wasn't expecting much because of the price and the reviews, but I didn't need much. Don't even wasted your time or money. I read the instructions carefully and followed to the T. No go didn't even get any steam ever! Returning it. I always like Billy Mays endorsed products. Not this!

Don't bother with this one. Get the Rowenta Ultra Handheld Steambrush - it works. Steam Buddy doesn't. Rowenta Ultra Handheld Steambrush - White

I was really excited when I saw this advertised by Billy Mays and now his wife. However, I just tried it on three different types of wrinkles and materials and it doesn't work. I even tried it on easy wrinkles and NOTHING!
How sad that useless products get sold to customers like us! It's going back.
