Cheese got moldy just as fast as in regular bags. They don't work like green bags.

I am the only cheese eater in the house and mostly just eat it on the weekends for sandwiches. Cheese would get moldy before I could eat an entire package. Since I've been using the cheese bags, I have not seen any mold on my cheeses and I have stored them for at least a month, sometimes longer. Make sure to expell all of the air from the bag and make sure it is sealed along the entire length. My only complaint is it is hard to find them in local stores and I need to replenish my supply soon.

We have not figured out what is different about these bags. They do an excellent job of keeping cheese fresh and highly usable, better than any other storage we have used. Definitely worth a try!!

I've used this product and also have trouble finding it in stores now. But it really does work! You must remove the cheese from it's original packaging, otherwise you will get mold sooner. Don't know why. I can keep cheese for months (no exageration) in the refrigerator in these bags. I do wash them and reuse them, but only a few times. I notice they lose their ability to keep mold away for extended periods of time after the 3rd time I wash them. As the other person said, each time I close the bag I squeeze out as much air as I can.
