1*JUST MORE JUNK FOR THE LANDFILLS*  Apr 01, 2010 By Phaedra
Help save the planet and money. I bought the Violight travel and the dental spa for my mouth guard. First, as far as the dental spa, one time, I was in a hurry one time so I grabbed my mouth guard and left the water in the bottom of it. There was SCUM in the bottom of the unit by the next morning! Now, I always rinsed my mouth guard before putting it in the unit so it was not that dirty! I was so grossed out but was so sold on the fact that we need these UV light pieces of junk to sanitize our stuff that I kept it around and was more cautious about keeping it clean which caused more work. Well, it didn't last 5 months before breaking! No refund on that. I also had the same problem with the travel unit only with that one it was broken right off the bat when I received it. So I sent it back right away and got it swapped out for a working one but that one broke after only 4 months! The company's will only swap them out and that is only within a certain time period. Total waste of money! I now soak my toothbrush and my mouthguard in vinegar and baking soda in a deep bowl. All natural and my things stay nice and clean and fresh! I'm also saving on batteries! I feel so much better too knowing I am not filling up the landfills with batteries and by continuing to get more and more plastic junk that I have to maintain. Save your money. These items are not worth the trouble!

1Are my teeth that huge?  Jan 08, 2010 By Roger Dixon
I'm not Mr. Ed. I think I have normal size dentures, but try fitting both the upper and the lower into this machine. You can't do it. Cup is way too small. You would have to do each one separately, which isn't practical. I also agree with the review that said this thing was noisy. Boy is it ever. Mine is going back.
