 DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON H2O MOPS! Jul 24, 2010
I purchased the H2O mop through Amazon in December, 2009. It worked wonderfully the first few times, then it began dripping water everywhere. The directions said to replace the filter about every 6 months; but after only about 6 uses? I attempted to purchase a filter from Thane--they had none in stock. I tried contacting the Marco Polo Trading Company (name on the instruction sheet) THREE times over 3 weeks and was told each time that their "technician" would call me. I'm still waiting. After one week of using the Swiffer again (with all the chemicals), I purchased a Shark and will begin using it. This H2O mop is a piece of garbage! And the one year warranty is a joke! No one will respond. I contacted the BBB. Will Amazon do anything for me?

I visited my aunt in June and I asked her if I could help her clean up after some company. She told me to go and get this mop and I fell in love instantly! This thing is awesome! It heats up fast and HOT!!! I love the way it makes my tile look when it is done. I would highly recommend this mop!

I gave this as a gift, and my friend LOVES it and hasn't stopped raving about how sparkling clean it leaves her wood & ceramic tile floors. She said it's easy to use and so much more thorough than conventional mopping. I just ordered one for myself!

This is my third steam mop and definitely the best. It does get really hot but I feel like my floors are getting cleaner that way. And yes the floor does get a little more wet than with other steam mops, but really it isn't a big deal. If clean floors are the goal, this is the way to get there.
I purchased the H20 mop immediately after mopping with and returning the Shark Ultra. The Shark left the floors streaky and still dirty. There shouldn't have been much dirt coming off the floor hours after using the Shark, but the H20 pad was filthy and I actually had to change the pad and use a second. That tells you how much better this mop works.

I loved this mop for the first 6 months. It left my floors cleaner than ever.I used to have to mop my hardwood floors almost daily. Now that chore has been reduced to once a week, sometimes twice a week, depending on the traffic that enters our home. I have kids and a pet, so there usually is a lot of activity in my home anyway, but even though, I only have to mop once a week typically. The machine worked impressively for about 6 months. Now, it seems to leave streaks here and there but it could be because of the water. I've owned other steamers, quite expensive ones which have broken after a year so I guess the life of steamers isn't a long one and based on that experience and knowledge, I have to give this machine the credit it deserves as it has done a great job for me continues to make my floors look great (I still receive compliments from people even though I have recently noticed the flaws I mentioned above).
