Did what it said it would do Jan 04, 2007
By R. Price I have used the two smallest of the three bits that come in this set. It worked exactly as it said it would in extracting some badly stripped screws. My only complaint is that even the smallest bit is fairly large, so anything smaller than a standard drywall screw may not be a candidate for the GRABIT. The largest bit is huge and seems designed for giant lag bolts or something.

Great gift! May 21, 2008
By Jilmary C. Clowers I gave this to my husband as part of his birthday gifts and he uses it so much more than anything else I have given him as far as tools! He looks for stripped screws just so he can use this handy item!

Love it! Jan 26, 2011
By kiki119 I live by myself and not very handy at all!!! I just got some ikea furnitures and the screw that came with the furniture are very poor quality and they striped very easily when pressure was applied... and this stubborn screwn didn't want to go in all the way and preventing my drawer going in properly....
I am so glad to have found this kit! so easy to use... I got that stubborn screw out within 5 minute! (would've quicker if I chose the right size bit in the 1st place)
I am hopeless when it comes to home repair... if I can do it, everyone can!

Had to get a stripped screw out of my shower drain.
Worked like a charm.
Not intuitive, but once you figure it out, it's great stuff.
Thanks!
The easiest I have used Nov 29, 2010
By Robert E. Fuller I have used so-called easy-outs for many years. They aren't!
With these you don't have to search for the right drill bit to fit the tool. Just mount the tool with the reaming end out and cut the recess. In no time you have the right concave surface to receive the extractor. Reverse the bit (Grabit tool) and run the drill motor in reverse to back the screw out.
I don't need these often, but when I do, they are just the ticket!
